After dropping out of school, she relocated to LA for the purpose of pursuing acting as a profession. Her acting debut was in the 2006 short Lucy's Piano. Her first major film role was 17 Again from 2009. She then played the role in the role of Alice McKee as she appeared in Blood: The Last Vampire A fantasy action film. In 2009, she got her first big TV breakthrough when she played the part of Alice McKee on the action fantasy film Blood The Last Vampire. Her other television roles include Terra Nova Go On (a series) and Selfie. She was a leading character in A Million Little Things, the family-oriented drama.
